I'm a member of the Morag Tong. But I'm also a member of House Redoran. And I just got a writ on another Redoran. If I kill him I get expelled from house Redoran (and I don't even have my Stronghold yet!), and if I don't kill him I can't continue with the Morag Tong writs. So, my question is, is there any way possible that I can kill Guril Retheran without it expelling me in the process? Does frenzy humanoid spells work, so if he attacks me first I can defend myself? Or can I make amends for the crime with Neminda or another Redoran quest giver? Thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure, but I will try my best.
Try to taunt your victim; that way he is attacking you so you have problems when you kill him since HE started the fight.
I believe that trying to cast the spell Frenzy on him is a bad idea because IIRC casting a spell on a NPC makes them angry and attack you BUT the spell will mean YOU have begun the fight.
( I once cast the spell Sound on a NPC; I got the message my crime was being reported(I think) and they were attacking me)
I'm not sure if the Taunting method is valid when doing quests for the Morag Tong but I think it is.
Hope that helped

Alright, here's the lowdown... Taunting is viable in only a few MT writs; most victims simply refuse to speak with you. I only remember one Redoran you have to take out (there may be more that I'm not thinking of), and he's in a manor that bears his name in the Redoran canton's plaza; he'll attack you if you merely speak to him, and it's not your fault IIRC.
In most cases, they simply give you a 'Goodbye' and refuse to speak to you, and for those the best course I know of is to use Frenzy Humanoid on 'em (you may need to buy multiple enchantments to get enough %, as multiple castings from multiple sources stack [multiple castings from the same source don't]). Frenzy Humanoid, unlike most spells, will not make you the guilty party... because it's not strictly a combat spell (Silence is).
Luck ;)

Cool, thanks.
Now I just have to find a wizard who can teach the frenzy humanoid spell, anyone know where one is?. I have plenty of Golden Saint souls on my pack guar, and I can spare to make a nice exquisite amulet that can cast Frenzy :)
