Sorry to spoil your fun, but I think it is the motherboard. I connected the PSU from that dead machine to another one and it came on. Besides, the PSU that I thought died wasn't even the Coolmax one. Still, not worth putting cash into a crappy old P4. Maybe I'll buy that Phenom II x6 now.
