thief 2014 was a reboot of thief=an alt universe,end of story=14 years after the original thief,they were not able to make it better
and not many mention this but art in thief 3 was amazing

While playing a T3 fan mission today, I became conscious of another thing that had always bugged me subconsciously: Sometimes guards keep talking after you blackjack them. For example, one of the standard reactions after you blackjack a guard is "Ugh... feel... funny..." as he falls unconscious. If a human receives a blow to the skull so hard they fall unconscious, it would be near instantaneous. If I remember correctly, guards in T1 and T2 simply grunt and fall down, which is realistic. I don't know why the developers added quips for blackjacked guards in T3.
