Hey all,
I have an extremely embarassing question here...
I have always been a gamer but have not had the money to buy PC games over the years, but now that I have a nice income as a computer programmer, I thought I'd go back and experience the classics that I had missed. It's also nice that these classics are usually very cheap ;)
So I started playing System Shock 2 but I am stuck at the very beginning of the game lol.
I come across where I need to install an energy cell to open the door, but have no idea how to install the energy cell. Help ;(
I see it in my inventory screen but don't know what to do, I tried just about every combinatino of mouse and keyboard keys. Please help me start enjoying this classic!

Drag-and-drop didn't occur to you, eh?

Make sure you've charaged it first by using the power station near by.

Also make sure that you aren't suffering from the broken use mode bug.

You didn't manage to miss the "go recharge it, doofus" objective, did you?

There appears to be a bug in the game related to customized input bindings? I did some research and read somewhere that using the default configuration works and it does!! Now I can drag and drop with the best of them.
I don't think I changed much from the default config anyway so no worries.
Thanks for giving me the idea that there was a bug in the I/O ::)
I hope that I enjoy the game as much as you all have!
I would have played the original System Shock but that may be too far back for my taste.. Especially with all these awesome games coming up, and the pile of games I bought and have yet to play.

You'd be surprised how much the game grows on you despite being dated. I was. In fact, the crappy graphics and every other old thing about it made it even more attractive to me because of how cool it was all put together.
