Hmm.. The patch seems to have destroyed my save games.. Not that i mind as i was planning to start over with a new char but it might suck for some people.
Cant remember who posted this, but yes It bloody hell does suck!!! I mean jesus fucking christ,do the guys at MW think All of us out there are 14 year olds with all the time in the world to play games .We can just throw away 100+ hours of game play and startover. Some of us work have little if some times no time at all to enjoy a game at the end of the day.
I have little to no programing knowledge, but what this tells me is either the game was badly done or the patch was was!!Goddamn it I am fast running out of patience. My only saving grace is that Tuco finished the game with out the patch and with all the bugs(Hey Tuco did you have to cheat to do it or will I be able to finish the game with out the patch.)
Now about the mods I have done ,they are no good with the new patch either!this whole thing reaks with incompetience.
BTW cant remeber who posted up a link to the read me file for the new patch but thanx a bunch that was insightful many thanx!!

The patch isn't that bad... it did bring up alot of error messages with saved games, and mods, but to fix the mods, just go into the tes construction set and resave them. I don't see how it could screw up your saved games, the patch just added and edited some content, saved games get messed up if content is missing.

Oh I cheated.
There's this one skull you gotta find. Yeah, I picked that up then dropped it in Dungeon_29 when I was encumbered...
Other stuff like that I had to 'pop', since I was going to search morrowind for where I put it.
However, I didn't encounter any game end causing bugs etc...
Oh, I did have to cheat to get past the Zainab camp.

That seems resonable enough, only have two working mods anyway at the moment

Well, when I finished the game - several weeks ago btw. - the only bug I ever ran into was that I could challenge Trebonius to a duel before I was ready to be promoted Arch-mage...
I didn't notice anything else than this - the game itself isn't hard to beat! And actually very well done... however I've had some stability issues, nothing critical only goddamn annoying! This could be caused by the fact that I'm using the no_safedisc executable. Alas I have a rather slow computer - and therefore I made Iso's of the discs and mounted them as imaginary drives using daemontools(a VERY nice program - freeware btw.) And well though it runs decently I've got no pixelshader - not maxed viewing distance, shortrange AI and no realtimeshadows... Looked nice anyways :)
Yeah - I'm still playing... my char number two. And trying out a lot of mods - some of them er really interesting!

Oops, is that a bug? I just beat him this morning and I'm 10 skill points away from being promoted...
