What about giving colored scrollbars on TTLG, for those of us who use IE5.5 ? That would merge them in the overall page design...
See how good it looks on (

Could you possibly make the rest of IE bright blue as well. Just the scrollbar looks a little... weird. :)

So *you* are the offenders!
Argh, isn't there at least some way of disabling these cursed recolored scrollbars?

Not that I know of. While it is technically possible to override CSS settings, I don't think that Internet Explorer gives you the ability beyond text and background.
Why don't you like them ?
Now we've got a poll subject for the next poll. For or Against colored scrollbars (a damn important thing, isn't it  )

I remember when the feature was announced, and I'm not sure it's possible to do it from a webpage, though it must technically be possible in some other ways (IE Rebars, those which are used for toolbars and menus, support background).
Anyway scrollbars is the most important thing, 'cause you encounter them in the middle of the page sometimes.

Oy! <IMG SRC="shake.gif" border="0">
can't please everyone... Anyway, I thought it was an interesting idea, so I played with it. Hanse and I liked it, we are awaiting the input of the other "Powers that be" on the subject, so the jury's still out on whether or not to keep them.
