Well, previously you had to register and then let Yorick add you to the special 'CCP' group before you could even see it...

I see.
Either case, today I hope my server works right, while i am at work, I am going to try and sort each wall texture to sub-categories, and post what was already complete. I have each of those high-res textures in groups of artists, and will make a category/artist pages hopefully today. With that said, I love some of the remakes that were done, I wish that they could all be complete :)
(Let's say every picture you remake that I like, in high-res, I give you a dollar, would that work??)
*sigh I'm desperate... The original textures just aren't working on Source, and I really wanted to make this project complete......

The CCP textures are already sorted into groups, by deck then by colour scheme.
Wouldn't it be best to use that same organisation? It would save you having to sort them yourself.

Possibly, but I only saw the handful done that were linked to that page, is their an archive of textures somewhere that I missed that also have the pre-done organization?

(
http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php/topic,155.msg424.html#msg424) Original SS1 textures sorted into families and rescaled to 256x256
[Link removed due to re-organising of CCP FTP structure]
The only thing is that those are a miss-match of quite a few different peoples' work, including me, IceNine and Ravus IIRC.

Do you mean those two he showed in the thread, or were there more (or non-jpeg versions)?
ZylonBane on 7/5/2007 at 22:25
All I know is what I saw in that post. Damned impressive stuff. Surely he did more than just those two.
