Would anyone be interested in a collaborative Thief fanfiction project, such as a "continue the story" thread or a group writing project? I know we have The Circle of Stone and Shadow from some years back, but I thought I'd put the idea out there in case anyone wants to get something going.

i think that is a great idea, but i feel you also have to first do a prequal story pre thief 1 to fill in a lot of the gaps in story then do a post thief 3 story :)
even though i wish it would be done in a fan mission series for thief 2 newdark

a fan mission series would be the most amazing option, but it would take years as the story would have to be gone over many times to make it perfect, and other option is a book with history of kathra-din era/post thief 3 also tidbits of thief 1/g/2/3 things to add to lore most with npc characters to involve them into future storylines/murlok we set free in thief 3/etc

We'd have to have direction, some basic plans. What's the story about? What parts should each of us contribute? &c

story must start from where garrett left off in thief 3 ending, so this way we can have a clear direction and not have to figure out how to explain things skipped, includes pre thief 1,post thief 1/g and post thief 2,i think the hardest part would be how much to do in each area of story
or it can be a process of working backwards in story, both ways can work
i think it would be best if a team worked together for idea's so no one will miss anything from lore
