Coffee Prices on the rise. - by metal dawn

That's one of the first things that freaked me out about the USA... Blue Mountain is no more expensive than most other coffees in Canada,
maybe topping out at $12 a pound. Here, closer to Jamaica, it costs double or triple what an average pound costs.

Oh, GBM... Instant??? :(
Get a coffee maker with a timer, man. There's nothing like waking up to the smell of brewing coffee.
Oh, we've got one. It doesn't get used as much as the Bodum (which I still maintain is the superior way to brew a couple of cups of coffee), but in the first few hours of the morning I
require instant coffee.
Also did you know that if you make instant coffee in a microwave, you go BACKWARDS IN TIME?
Well, actually, you usually run the risk of superboiling the water and getting a violent, scalding geyser when you so much as breathe near it.
Also fuck Starbuck's. Vicious sods, incapable of brewing a decent coffee. Starbuck's is the Jamba Juice of coffee houses. Or the Wal-Mart, except Wal-Mart doesn't actively try to bewilder you with bullshit and make you feel like an illiterate peon just because you didn't somehow guess that Grande meant Small.

Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is the stuff of the gods. Apparently only financial gods can afford to buy it at about $30 a pound, or more
Reminds me of the stuff that coffee growers would feed to their fowl and then collect the defecated beans afterwards and sell the coffee at ridiculously high prices.
(I just don't like the thought that I'd be drinking something a bird shat out.) :p

Agreed at the top of my voice.
Peet's ,for a coffee chain, is so far above
Starbutts in quality that the comparison is like the moon shining down on Whale shit at the bottom of the Mariana's trench.

I live in Seattle. I do not drink coffee.
As you may imagine, I am ostracized.

WTF are you going on about?!? Even the GBM mentioned Blue Mountain as being something quite nice he enjoys. I doubt these coffee plantations are duping TWO geniuses. Am I rite?

I was talking about the price, not the quality.
