How do I get the Code Book from the Thieves Guild chick? I have tried everything, I don't think stealing it from her would be a good idea, what do I do?
Also when I ask around Balmora some say this Larrius(sp) guy wants to see me at Fort Moonmoth, so I go and see him, he wants me to kill the Camona Tong members, is that right? I really don't want that big of a bounty on my head, what does he want? I gave him the names of them already, I think.

I didn't need to kill the camaro tong members to master the legion, but I did anyway afterwards... you do get a bounty on your head, and there's no reason to do it.
for the code book... Dunno...

What is that Larrius guy yammering about then? Bloodbath, bad people, every time I talk to him he just says that stuff over and over again. I assumed he wanted me to kill the Tong people. Anybody know what he wants me to do?
And the Code Book quest is one of the Fighters Guild quests BTW, like the 2nd or 3rd one.

Codebook: Steal it from her Feenix. I had this problem. I didn't know how to get it from her but it was easy when I stole it from her. No bad effect either. She just says "You got the codebook, alright?" but she's still your friend and what not. Just make sure you are not caught. She's pretty easy to steal from.
Larrius: Yeah. He wants you to kill the four people of the Cammora Tong. Ask one of the thieves' guild people who are "the bad people" and then kill those named people in the Tong. The secret to killing them is simply to Taunt them into attacking you. You won't get a crime reported if they attack you first. Not just that, but Larrius thanks you for being so discreet about it. Not just that, but a cool effect is that if you ask the thief's guild about the Cammora Tong (or the bad people, I forgot, I think it is the Tong), they say that someone seemed to hit their guild real hard but no one knows who. (But you sure do you sneaky devil hehe)

I was gonna steal it eventually when I get my stealth up a little more. ;)
And I'll do Larrius' thing later, I might need the Tong's help, you never know. :cheeky:

Sure thing. :D What I suggest is turning Invisible and trying to go into Stealth mode, then just steal it from her. That seems to help out with your chances. Just remember to always Quick Save before hand. Build up your Sneak and Security. They become real handy.
As for Larrius, you just might hehe. But so far, I haven't seemed to need to their help at all. Just whack 'em discreetly. lol. I dunno. Do it later on. The reward isn't that useful anyway. :sweat:

If you get the bounty on your head (like i did) You can use invisibility to get back down to larius then talk to him and any bounty you had will dissappear i reloaded and went on a killing spree nailing everyone i saw before i talked to him and got 30040 gold off my head in bounty lol.

I'm currently on the code book quest with my new char. With my barb I just bribed her and she gave it to me but now im in both the fighters and thieves guild and she won't give it up. Is stealing the only way to get it now (orther than killing her)? My stealth is only about 25 so I'm not that good at pickpocket. I want to advance farther in the fighters guild so I need to do this quest 9Youcan't get more quests untill you finish the previous one right?)

Actually, you can still get Fighters' Guild quests, just not from the Balmora guild. Just go to different towns with guilds and ask around; somebody will give you a quest.
