Another update:
We're halfway done with the command deck, and have saved over five minutes from our prelim run. I guess a couple extra points in agility earlier on really help, as can cleaner execution, of course. The most impressive optimization is probably the Ops deck, which we beat in about 1:30 (at work now, can check the numbers when I get home). Saved big chunks of time by not activating Bball court lights (see other thread in this forum), finding new places to use teleport, and overall grabbing much less.

Most of the time we don't! :D
We're almost done with the run, only BotM and Where Am I? are left to do. Last night was quite frustrating completing Rickenbacker Pod 1. It's one of the longest and toughest segments and took us many attempts. One example of a run-stopper: fragments from a black egg falling in the wrong place (you should be able to figure out where in the video). We are now thinking a sub-25 minute run is possible, as we're at BotM in 20:40. That gives us 4:20 to finish the game. Some practice runs put us at Where Am I? in 23:41, and some test runs of the final segment took 1:31. Only 12 seconds to shave somewhere. Hopefully we can fly through the teeth room without any trouble; that's really the run-killer.

We're done with the run. Approximate final time:
24:37.
We're going to submit to SDA ((
http://www.speeddemosarchive.com) www.speeddemosarchive.com). The editing that must be done will take a while; I'll be sure to post here when it's ready for download.

Very nice! I hope the video will be full resolution, and that you will join the segments into one file, since it's a real pain to download and individualy open the usual 100 movies from SDA. You may wish to use a good tool like VirtualDub. I also recommend XviD or DivX.

Are you going to post the run from both points of view or are you cutting half the footage out to leave everyone scratching their head at least several times saying to themselves, "Self, wtf just happened?"

Splitscreen would be extremely cool.
