Hasn't Fox News' political bias been the subject of much speculation for years now?

Watching him trying to interrupt Clinton was pretty funny, although it's just too embarassing to watch him throw in punches after the fight was already over. Does anyone actually buy that "a lot of people emailed this question to me" line? I guess he thought Clinton would fall for that whole 'don't shoot the messenger' disarming tactic. What a moron. I guess there is a reason that he's on Fox.

Yeah, but things go quite to another level when someone accuses a specific reporter of doing the bidding of the Chief Executive.

oh god, I can't bear to read it. How do people like this end up being instructors? More importantly, why is it that every time Boston University is mentioned it's in connection with some horribly shitty person?
I don't care what people think about Clinton's speech but I wish their articles on it weren't so GODDAMNED SMIRKY. Now we've come full circle.
What I don't understand is why Clinton agreed to a Fox News interview.
And seriously, if you interrupt your interviewee, you should be fired. It's just RUDE, dude.

Yes indeedy... That movie OutFoxed made some interesting points, I haven't seen it in ages so I don't want to start quoting it on such a foggy memory, but I can strongly reccoment you watching it.

The implication that W explicitly tells anyone in particular at Fox News what to do/say is clearly over the top.
However, the implication that Fox News in general acts in concert with the interests, tactics and goals of the Republican party can't be a serious question at this point.
The idea that A) the Republican party in general has a gameplan over any particular political issue (such as the recent painting of Clinton as being to blame for 9/11) and B) Fox News is aware of and actively furthers that gameplan is a legitimate supposition at this point.

Because he is doing P.R. for his Clinton Global Initiative, and after Rupert Murdoch pledged a serious amount of money to the cause, I'm sure that his appearance was both an olive branch and a quid pro quo.

Am I missing something or is this just terribly lame trivia dropping?

Me, I vote for "you are missing something". Including a deeper understanding of the phrase "terribly lame trivia".

Thanks RBJ for the links and the transcript, I would have put them up as well but on dialup Im lucky to be able to post at all ;)
I believe he Clinton did overreact a little bit by implying that Wallace asked the question as a 'hit job', but it IS fox and its known that correspondents that try to ask the questions the conservative base wants to hear often get the kudos.
I think it was basically the culmination of Clintons frustrations that horrid docudrama on ABC and all the other allegations that 9/11 was more his fault than anyone elses.
K.O's ending comment was fucking great, Im gonna have to watch him more.
EDIT: The daily show did a small bit on the Clinton thing. It wasnt much but it put attention to the way most of the other news networks just hyped it as a blowout and didnt bother to adress what he actually said.

I'd like to see the exact quote where he says that. The exact line is
So you did Fox's bidding on this show. You did your nice little conservative hit job on me. What I want to know is ... (cut off by Wallace)
