I'm trying to generate a climbing glove puzzle, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered the gloves behaving in a very flaky fashion. In the OMs they were always pretty solid for me, but I'm having weird pauses on some surfaces where I should be able to climb, and then the gloves don't grab on. Other times, there is a pause and they do.
Anyone have any idea what might cause this? It is happening both on brushwork and static meshes.

Just wanted to ask agaon and post some new info. On this particular wall, if I'm looking down when I try to grab on, it works fine, if I'm looking ahead or up, the gloves fail. I was able to repeat this many, many times without the pattern ever breaking, any ideas?

EUREKA! Hopefully someone is looking at this, because I found the problem.
It is a Vsynch issue. Apparently it defaulted to Vsynch off, and that introduces all sorts of weirdness to the climbing gloves. I don't know why, but when I turned it on, everything worked flawlessly.
So take note.
