Sorry, I'm not following CS patches. Any major ones? Is the faction war finally fixed? Any ZRP-like mods?
CS was definitely worse than SoC, but with two more STALKERs coming out I just feel like I'm missing out.

Don't know about news regarding CS patches/mods, but there is only one STALKER announced for now.

I've heard the story is actually worse than SoC, which I thought was pretty rubbish, so is this true? I've also heard that the side characters are pretty bad in this one but apparently full Russian dialog amends that somewhat? I missed CS when it first came out due to lack of funds and the luke-warm reception meant I didn't pick it up later but I'm on a bit of a STALKER kick at the moment and I am thinking of picking it up now, especially after seeing some swap screenies.
