Some may think it's really there after reading these moans :p

Nobody pushes you to use it in most games anyway. When I played FEAR without slomo, I learned how challenging game it can be. If it was an ability of an artifact in CS, one can voluntarily use it or not use it. Though it would be enough for me to try out slow motion just with help of a cheat if there was one, such thing is trivial to implement. Also good for scrutiny of balistics, body parts vulnerability and armor resistance.

Koki, for fuck sakes, next you'll be saying you dont enjoy sex cos it wasnt earth-shattering multiple orgasmic. Well, I doubt you'll be saying that, but for gods sake you are a negative bastard.
I'm negative?
STALKER was in development for SIX YEARS.
In that time I haven't noticed ANYTHING added to the game. A shitload of features was DROPPED instead.
And the final game? Weapons and armor can't be repaired. Pistols kill better than rifles. Why the fuck implement such things as bullet drop if you're all going to scrap it for a "pew pew" FPS mechanics? The whole Zone is literally packed with humans(some effective cordon they have there) and plays as Far Cry with few mutants thrown in. Anomalies are just about as unimaginative as you can get, all of them either damaging or killing you outright. AI is dumb, friendly Stalkers wander around aimlessly, whole trading system is completely fucked up, there are two shops in the game, and the story is presented in the most uninteresting way possible.
The fact that the game manages to keep some atmosphere after all that is a goddamn miracle.
STALKER is an FPS. It shouldn't be an FPS, it should be game about the Zone. A game where you're more concerned with radiation or anomalies or whatnot and not the hundred bandits you have to get past to get a key. And Clear Sky looks like even more of an FPS, and even less of a Zone, and that pisses me off.

The initial vision has proved to be too utopian to be realistic and it had to be revised several times in the process. You didn't get that much in last 6 years? Because most fans who watched the development did, they acknowledged the odds and they're over it for some time now. If you think you can make a perfect game, go ahead. I can't wait for the reviews.

Two shops? I can think of four.
I guess it depends what is called a "shop".

Stalker never was going to be Roadside Picnic though, it was going to be a FPS with elements from it, which is exactly what we got, and it's pretty damn good. (I would be quite interested in a mod that did make Stalker like that though, except it seems rather difficult to mod the SP scenario properly)
Shops I can think of: Sidorovich, Barkeep, Duty Armory, Freedom Armory, Sakharov

pity there is no shop in pripyat

And the ferris wheel could have been repaired and working. Even a stalker has his inner child.

Just imagine if they'd announced that as a feature and had then taken it out...
