Dude, those are the people who made a silencer which works on ALL calibers. They're gunsmith gods.
Did you actually try to attach it to all weapons? :p If you did, you would find that there is only a few weapons that can be modified with silencer.

In AMK you can buy universal silencer from the beginning from Sidorovich. And still there is silenced Makarov. That's rather dull.
And now for something completely different:
I checked website of Czech gaming mag (
http://www.score.cz/) and noticed they have minimum requirements for CS -
Windows 2000
Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz / AMD XP 2200+
512MB RAM
10GB for instalation
GeForce 5700 / Radeon 9600
They mention that minimum requirements for XP and Vista users will be higher, especially more RAM wil be needed, but I'm at peace. After I upgraded my XP rig to 2GB RAM the action and loading was about equally fast (slow?) as with 1GB, so I presume 2GB will be quite enough for XP users... dunno about Vistas.
Anyway, it doesn't seem like they made any radical changes in the engine so I should be able to play it fine on DX9 medium settings.

Most of what I've heard suggests that they have added things to the engine, but at the same time they've optimised it.
Having watched (and liked) the video on DX10 effects, I will probably see whether/how well Clear Sky runs under Vista on my machine (a sturdy but ageing Core2Duo with an 8800GT card and 4GBs).

That would actually be a pretty cool way to do it - modding weapons(Or hell, even bullets!) with artifacts.
Yeah, that's what I suggested- I personally would prefer weapons to have side effects from attaching unstable radioactive materials, so it's not just a straight-up upgrade.

I was not able to enjoy it because of what was there and what wasn't there :p
Rogue Keeper on 8/8/2008 at 15:38
Still, you DO enjoy some games with that philosophy on your mind, no?

Koki, for fuck sakes, next you'll be saying you dont enjoy sex cos it wasnt earth-shattering multiple orgasmic. Well, I doubt you'll be saying that, but for gods sake you are a negative bastard.

That'd be a nice feature indeed. I would have loved to see that in BioShock, it would have made that game so much more fun. Sometimes its very nice to have some time to think when you're fighting multiple enemies, you really can think up some cool strategies etc.

A little faq was posted on official forums and it says there won't be any other ways of artifact's using compared with SoC, they removed some negative effects and made their effects more useful though. Also, stealth will stay the same, they didn't touch it :(
