Most people are just conservative in nature and wants to defend "their" OS, especially since upgrading is always a hassle, its easier just to listen to the haters so they can continue to believe they have the best OS available. I've been a PC user since the 386 and i've seen this behavior for almost every OS that has been released so far.

Ooooh. I'd get that in a heartbeat. It's the same as Home Premium, right?

Why do I even need to post again?
I have no idea, please explain why you need to post again?
Quote:
I've made myself about as clear as I can here.
Excellent, why did you post again?
Quote:
You can call me a stupid lazy hater.
No i didnt, quote me where i said it then.
Quote:
You can say "Mature? Dudes! The drivers is sooooo mature" all you want. I've said my piece, and so far the only arguments you've offered in reply are "No. You're wrong. It's
tweakable" and "NUH UH! YUR DUM CUZ YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER".
No i didnt, for the second time stop making up lies. I'll say this though: you're a pathetic liar and rephrasing what i write all the time in a moronic way dont give you any extra points for good arguments at all.
Quote:
Those aren't very convincing arguments.
Yes they are, prove me otherwise. If you dont think its worth it that's fine, but dont come here saying what i can or can not like about a certain OS, or what i find useful. I'm not trying to force you or anyone else to buy Vista, i'm just expressing why i like it. You continue to post without any arguments, just expressing anger, you really need to understand you come off as rather... lame.

So until you give me a reply with a bit more substance, until you can tell me WHY Vista is so much better than XP, I'm bailing.
I've aleady explained, but you just dont (and cant) argue against my main points, you're just interested in making up shit or rephrasing what i write in a moronic way.
I'll give you my reasons why i like it one more time though. Better and more informative file copy, better memory handling, much improved search function, easy to go to a map by just clicking a shortcut.
These are things i, and most other people who use a computer use everyday. Maybe you dont even use your computer for anything else but surfing and games, then NO, its not worth it.
I only said i think its worth it and stated my arguments, but you just couldnt help yourself into not making comments about that and without meeting my arguments in a mature way.

Look, it's got nothing to do with the features.
I don't want Vista cus of the DRM they packed into it.
Are you sure people are having problems with DRM or are you just guessing here? Maybe you have some other reason that i'm totally unaware of :)
EDIT: ah wait, DRM has to do with original copies movies/music doesnt it, THAT explains why i never hear anyone complaining about it lol

Actually I'm pretty sure it has something to do with system scanning ports and shit all the time which slows it down by up to thirty percent. Why do you think Vista is so slow?
There was a lenghty analysis of that floating somewhere on the Internet...
vurt on 9/7/2008 at 10:58
Vista isnt slow at all, I dual boot with XP (which i never really use anymore), they run equally fast even though vista has lot of more things going on.
There are numerous tests (post SP1) that shows its just as fast as XP. You're probably talking about the first comparisons between Vista and XP. Vista was neither fast or bug free (no shit?) in the beginning, for some reason some people thinks this still applies, guess they've never heard of OS's with frequent updates that accually improves performance, removes bugs etc..

I like the new artifact finding system. I don't like that the game seems to be all about killing people again, hovewer enjoyable it might be with the take & hold.
Good thing there's a "faction strenght" though, I was afraid that even after capturing the whole map you'd still need to run around and protect the outposts from randomly spawning enemies.
