This is just about the only game where I'd say: Please, gimme more of the same with some spice thrown in. I'd not mind some expansion packs to stretch this one out.

I like the sound of the tweaked artefact/anomaly system. I had to mod the visible effects off the anomalies in the first game before they became even slighly threatening, and really, how difficult is it to find artefacts when they bob up and down and glow in the dark?

I think I read somewhere that they would have some weirder, non-lethal anomolies. Like one where you get caught in a pocket of warped space that kinda winds back in on itself, so you can end up walking forever in a loop. That'd be neat. The volumetric lighting in the video that... it now appears I did not see here... maybe it was on a different thread, that looks cool too, I wonder whether that will actually run on my system. It looks taxing.

No mention of a publisher for Clear Sky yet, which is odd considering the planned Q1 release. Unless GSC is self-publishing on this one.

Even I can see them well in darkness (my eyes could be better). But in daylight it is a challenge.

Doesn't THQ want to deal with them again?

I think it very well may be vice versa :)

Hogs get fat, pigs go to slaughter. GSC seems a bit drunk* on the success of Stalker... considering its poor record of meeting deadlines and shipping dates.
* CEO offhandedly claims interest in developing a MMOG but is incapable of delivering the V1.1 free play patch in a timely manner. Cocky is fine when its backed up with results.

Why do you think he "is incapable of delivering the V1.1 free play patch in a timely manner" . IIRC, he didn't promise 1.1 in the past year, but sometime around CS release.
