More on topic, August 29, seriously? Curse these late August releases, I'll have all summer with time to game and it's only once school is starting up again that I get something (hopefully) solid to sink my teeth into.
I know just how you feel. I'm hoping my little agenda of games I've got planned will fill that time in nicely. Most of them I've played before, but not in some time. Also intend to buy the Witcher and Bionic Commando, so that'll fill things in a little better as well.

I guess it must be the fact that he's the first character you meet once you're set free. I mean, you've just started the game having heard all these great things about a huge map and the freedom to explore it all and talk to all the thousands of people in and then Fargoth comes along and shows you just how gay the rest of the game is. Five minutes in and he makes you realise just what you spent your money on.

Right, ok, except Fargoth hate != Morrowind hate, and indeed crops up in Morrowind fans much more than it does in non-fans, who would probably have not played the game enough to develop any kind of meme associated with despising one particular character, in a game they dislike on the whole. But I can see your point with him kind of being the first example of a Wood Elf you meet, and as such he kinda becomes the Banner from which to hang all the various... affronteries of the race in general. Consider the matter resolved?

So when do they plan to release patch 1.1? I hope it will be before Clear Sky.
Also with this thing coming out at the end of August and Fallout 3 ideally coming out shortly after that, it means the fans of both series will have some heavily irradiated autumn. :D
