Niice shots there! I never would have tried to do something like this in my mod! I wouldn't think I could pull it off! I'd hope to see more of this mod in the near future!

Sensaround wasn't useless in Shock. At least I use it all the time in the Medical level. I hate being sneaked upon by the mutants while walking around.
Although it's true that in an engine that supports mouselook it does lose its usefulness.

say... do I see Goggles lurking around in that first shot?

Sensaround was a godsend in the autobomb maze on the bridge.

Having not played Sysem Shock 1 because the game's wonky controls make me feel like I'm in a first person ballerina simulator that sucks really bad, I have to ask... What is sensaround and... why won't it work?
For those of you who are gathering explosives to bomb my house: I'm certain the game isn't actually that bad if you get used to those horrible controls.

The controls were pretty much a work of art when the game was released.
Sensaround, when activated, replaced the MFDs at the bottom of your screen with video images of what was happening to your rear, and with a later version to the sides. Useful when turning was a complicated process. It started out updating every few seconds, progressing to a realtime image as the version number increased.
Edit: flippin' heck, I can't find a single screenshot that has Sensaround enabled. :erg:
Edit edit: and the game wasn't that bad at all. Better than the second one to be honest.

LOL! Pulling a G-man, eh? That'd be an interesting addition to the finished mod.

Placeholder Cyborg Drone model.

Speaking of that first shot, looks like there are some texture scale issues around the door frame.
D'Arcy on 17/12/2007 at 17:17
In that first shot, Goggles is actually standing on the spot where usually a Cyborg Drone is in the original game. At least if that's the room I'm thinking of (and I'm pretty sure that it is). So maybe that's a Cyborg Goggles in that image?
