Heck, you probably still know more about ShockED than I do. :p

Double-posting for the bump.
Can someone e-mail/PM me the address and login credentials of the FTP server? I thought I saved them in an FTP client before I uninstalled my old one, but they are nowhere to be found.
Finished my first object-placing run through Medical, btw, which is why I'm asking. I'm going to go through again to see if I missed anything, but if someone else could check it as well, that'd be cool, hence the reason I need to upload the file. Backups are good, too.

If you had been using the Frayed Edge server I should remind you that it's being cleared out.

Oh. I forgot about the fact that we were using that server...never mind then, thanks.
In that respect, I guess we should do something about that.....
Anyone care to donate space for an FTP?

I thought Raph already offered?
rachel on 13/5/2009 at 14:29
Indeed.
An LGClassics FTP and subdomain is at your disposal should you want it. :)
Enchantermon on 13/5/2009 at 18:08
Ah. Well, I'd say we take you up on that, then. I don't know if anyone has any objections, but we'll need it if this is ever going to get done.
Of course, we need a lot more than that (organization, time, help, etc.), but...baby steps. :p

I can see this thread is dead (still warm though). Please forgive the necromancy.
As someone who has eagerly lurked and watched the progress of CCP, I seem to hear that little is happening, and it seems to be stalled, possibly forever.
I would really like to play through the stuff you guys have made. It would be quite fun and not quite right at the same time, yet I wouldn't care if I could just play through part of it.
I humbly request that you release what you have now as a "CCP Pre-alpha Pack," so those of us who are fans of the mod can at least enjoy what you've done. I suspect it might help you guys get some momentum, perhaps enough to breathe new life into the project.
I understand the attachment people put to their personal work, and that they want it to be "right" before people see it. I don't discount that at all, but it would be nice for us fans to be able to check out the hard work the team has done so far.
Request made. Thanks for listening.

Funny you should say that. CCP has actually just been revived (again) following the closing of the site where our forums used to be. A new forum has been created here for our project, and work is currently being done. The forum will be made public as soon as our moderator returns from his travels (which should be sometime next week).
The biggest things we're lacking right now are AI and object modelers/skinners. Once we have a few people working on those, we'll be well on our way toward a demo release. I'm currently scouting talent right now, as a matter of fact.
Also, Nameless Voice put a trailer up on YouTube a while back. It's quite outdated; things look a lot better now, but it's worth checking out. (

I really hope this project will one day be completed. I do not have any of the skills you require but I do wish you the best. I will be watching closely. Thank you to everyone who is and has worked on this.
