It appears that the CCP forums have just derezzed. Anybody know what's going on?

Dunno...it was working not too long ago. I know that The Frayed Edge forums were overrun with spambots, though I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I hope it's not gone for good, or if it is, I hope there's a backup of our threads somewhere.....I'll PM JediK and see if he knows what happened.

JediK had posted quite a while ago (multiple months) saying that TheFrayedEdge was closed and he wasn't paying for it any more and the CCP forums should be relocated before everything went down.
Luckily for you gents, I do have a database backup so nothing should be lost. Let me know where to send it, and I shall.

The Powers What Be here at TTLG would probably be happy to add a private CCP dev forum.

Yep, definitely. Whoever would be in charge of it would have to contact me, though. Oh, and I might be tempted to peek inside now and again. :)

There's already an abandoned but still (
http://forums.freylia.net/index.php?board=11.0) a fully function CCP forum over at Freylia.
But without anyone actually working on CCP, I'm not sure how useful a forum for it is.

Perhaps the impending 10-year anniversary of SS2's release could serve as sufficient motivation to at least get the Medical demo out.

I wish I could help out, but with college exams and the fact that I haven't touched ShockEd in years, there's just no way.
Let me know what you guys end up deciding to do.
Enchantermon on 28/4/2009 at 22:55
Either is fine with me, although if it were here, things would be nicely centralized.
I'm still poking away on Medical, by the way. Progress is slow, but happening. I'm about 75% done with the first round of object placement.

And I am still working on Cyberspace, though I'm tending towards the opinion that the effort could have been better spent doing, well, anything else including bludgeoning my head against my desk, despite having got pretty much everything except 360 degree movement and some of the unimportant softs working. The current significant annoyance/ problem is that something very odd is happening with the visible object count where a whole lot of 'phantom' objects are getting generated.
