Regarding this thread's original topic, is there anyone willing to help us with re-skinning the Rebirth models to fit with the SS1 corpses?

I've got summer coming up in about a month, so perhaps I could try to figure out the modelling thing? Im failry confident that my severe lack of job\life would give me in excess of 8 hours a day to pour into the project.
But really, dont rely on me as your primary for anything. Really.

The Rebirth models are not suitable for scientist or exec corpses, because Cyberblutch saw fit to add big baggy leg pouches and Popeye calves to the crew models.

The Rebirth model could always just act as a place holder so they can release a demo sooner :p
But yeah, I thought the crew models looked too....puffy :erm:

Since the Rebirth models are already created, it should be relatively simple to load them into Anim8or (or whatever) and slim them down where appropriate.
If I had the slightest notion what the appropriate steps were to assemble a functional AI model, I might even take a crack at it myself.

The most time-consuming part is the modelling, whereas the most critical part is properly naming the joints and then fixing all the errors. I'm sure that you could do it quite competently ZB. :thumb:

Isn't it rather ridiculous that a naked corpse would be a no-no but the ripped apart corpse and the rest of the gore is a-ok?
