..perhaps some kinky panties would be enough to cover up that nudity :p
I must agree with grimlan.its weird, weird world around us..

Isn't it rather ridiculous that a naked corpse would be a no-no but the ripped apart corpse and the rest of the gore is a-ok?
It's not that it's a no-no. It's that it doesn't make sense.

Just thought I'd say hi and let you know that I'm still alive :p
I think my busy period is grinding down now... I'll fire up SS2/SS1 and get to work soon. :)

These bodies were put there for a reason. If not a logical one they still serve the atmosphere. One of the questions of System Shock is: What's human?
And their vulnerability in the midst of all the violence reminds the player of his own weakness.
Include some naked bodies at appropiate places.
Panties would be ok I guess. But I'd also say: Turn them over. They should show their weak spot.
My two cents.

Although I personally do not have any logical reason why they are there, I must assume the original designers did. If that reason was known, then maybe they would make more sense. Regardless, if the authors of this conversion want to be as faithful to the spirit of the original as possible, then is it not acceptable to include them without fully understanding them?

With things going how they are, I'm probably going to have to pick up another part-time job on top of my full-time job, and it's rather likely that I'll have to leave the project.

I think Kolya hit it right on the head......there are any number of justifications or none at all for the naked corpses but their symbolic value is subtly effective. Think of them as display cases, dumb and fragile as they litter the floor of a space station they put together. Seems the perfect foil to the abominations their living counterparts became...

Why not just include minimal clothing (underwear, bras etc etc) ? I doubt anyone would have any problems with that.

More good news - Telliamed has converted some of his scripts for use in SS2; I'm currently testing them, and they'll probably be present in his next release.
So far I've tested the TrapCamAttach script, which allows the player to "look through" a remote camera (that is, from any object carrying the script). It works quite well, though with a few bugs - which will hopefully be solved soon.
So we'll have security screens in the Conversion as in SS1's "observation" rooms - frob a scrin object, and you'll see through a camera.
