Also worth pointing out that if you were to rearrange Shayde's africa map by population, you'd probably be sticking everything into china.
Size isn't everything.
(though potentially, this reinforces Shayde's point, since the more geographically isolated pockets of people are, the more they diverge)

There's one but that little bit at the top just tangents to give DRC sea access, so it looks like it's in two pieces ... like with Croatia, or India, or Denmark, Palestine, Eq. Guinea, the US, Russia ... lots of countries aren't entirely contiguous and look like they're in pieces actually.
