The Chiropractor said that if I kept cracking my neck the way I am I would be paralized with arthritis,
A great example of why he's not a doctor.

I haven't heard of getting arthritis, but I've heard that popping your own neck isn't as good as it feels. My chiropractor said that when you twist your own neck, you only pop a few of the joints. The rest stay all stiff, and when you turn your neck after that it'll rotate most at the joints you already popped, so the rest of your neck is likely to get stiffer. I think he's right that I can't pop my entire neck. When he twists my head I hear a whole lot more snap crackle and pop than when I do it myself.
Plus, there's always the danger that you'll go too far and your head will fall off.

Wow, LMAO! You just made my crappy day all the better.
I fell on my back a while ago and after that my neck popped everytime I would turn it to the right and it would also hurt! REALLY BAD!
I began rotating my head in full 360' circles every morning when I wake up and right before bed, after about 2 monthes of that, it went away.
And for those who are wondering the nature of the fall, I fell directly on my neck/back from right around 7 1/2 - 8 ft. Skating on a cement vert ramp has its ups and downs lol.

I broke my sternum a few years ago falling and the end of the handlebars of my bike.
It seemed to heal, but now I get sore there from exercising (especially after going really low doing push-ups or dips), and it will occasionally pop while performing certain motions. The popping is odd, because afaik there's nothing there to pop, and it never did before.

There is plenty to pop there, just like any other joint.

I went to the doctor. He said that something shifted inside of me. It happens to everyone. It's no big deal.

Chiropractors are frauds. Go see an osteopath. They're *doctors.*

Weird! Your neck cracks when you turn your head? When I turn my head the only thing happens is that my visual perspective changes. Neurotic and hypochondriac are two words that come to mind just now.
