Seriously, maybe the joke didn't come across properly in written form, but I'll just say that I live in Los Angeles, and disguising one's own discomfort with homosexuality by doing whatever it is that you thought I was trying to do got really old years ago. On second thought, I don't care if you see it in a negative light because of certain assumptions you may have about me. That is your limitation and not mine. That wasn't meant to be hostile, by the way. I'm just saying that I meant no harm by that joke, and that despite what you may have assumed, I wasn't trying to project my own thoughts on homosexuality in any way by using those words. I'd rather chalk it up to a stupid joke.
I do find it intriguing that one could look gayer than the other to someone, however. Honestly, if they were clothed, I would simply assume they are models.

I did feel a bit guilty about what I said sounding like a verbal tirade, but like I said, it wasn't meant to be hostile. If you are saying that I do not say anything funny by insinuating that I do not have a sense of humor, then perhaps you are right. I often amuse myself more than I amuse the others, and while that may be a little selfish, for the most part I focus on the original subject in each thread and steer clear of potentially inflammatory comments. I do see humor in what Monkeysee said, and originally my post was just that one capitalized line. Call it pre-emptive or what have you, but I decided that I didn't want to be associated with the type who goes around bashing gay people to mask their own insecurity.
In any case, I am sure both Sombras and Monkeysee are big boys who can take care of themselves if they felt insulted.

In hind-sight, if I could anticipate that somebody was going to react that way to my joke, I would have refrained. I can admit that it was tacky, although at the time I posted it, I was just saying it like I would to somebody that was actually face to face with me. I do get clumsy sometimes and forget that you guys aren't in front of me to see my mannerism and the expressions on my face. Reading what I say from the other persons' perspectives, though, I see that I sound rather harsh. I apologize for that misunderstanding.
