What's that supposed to mean?
I don't see the point of this sort of thing at all, we know people died in the towers, and I don't need to hear this any more than I need to see decapitated hostages or Iraqi suicide bomb victims.
Its only purpose is to elicit an emotional response and enable our governments to rape and pillage, fuelled by our tears.

Aren't the phone calls just released? Therefore it's new news and of certain public interest given it's content.
What happened was a tragedy and the phone calls are a poignant reminder of the horror of 9/11. What happened must not be swept under the carpet and forgotten StD.

Do we have such short memories that we need constant reminders of an event that happened less than 5 years ago? Anyone who saw that footage live on TV surely has it indelibly imprinted on their brain?
Sure, it was a tragedy, but I can't help feeling that releasing stuff like this is designed to divert our attention from a much greater tragedy ongoing at the moment in Iraq.

To clarify, from my previous posts you know that I do not like what has happened in Iraq but I think we should try and make the best of the situation which has occurred.

I gotta agree a little with Strontium, I will never forget the images I saw that day, I still cant look at passenger planes in the sky without thinking about skyscrapers and such.
