ok. how you gotta go into the well and find vidkun, hes not there. the marker leads me to a wallwith lots of markings. do you have to do a spell or something to break the wall?

He should be floating around down there in the right wing.

he is not. i have spent an hour overall down there.(real time)

There's a discussion about this on the official forums. Apparently it's a known bug. If you go into the well, leave, and then come back, the body disappears.

Until Bethesda fixes this, the following console command puts the ring in your inventory: player.additem 0002E5AC 1

I just realised something. I never thought I'd see that makers of Daggerfall put a game on a console for this exact kind of reason.
These are strange times we live in.

no!!!! i have it for 360!! what do i do?!?
pur3pwn3r on 2/4/2006 at 21:08
i emailed bethesda, but they'll probably give me useless stuff...:erm: until i get the email(48 hrs.), anyone know of those cheats for the 360?
RyushiBlade on 3/4/2006 at 00:16
As far as I know, there are no cheats for the 360 version of Oblivion. Bethesda most likely will not reply, and if they do they probably won't have an answer. When I had a problem in Morrowind, I e-mailed them and got no response.
With the 360's online capability, you'll be able to download a patch when it is released. It will most likely fix the issue.
