I do enjoy picturing pathetic hippies stopping Frags in the street and asking him what's to be done about these awful Muslims, while he gives them the 'smell the glove/talk to the hand'. I'm sure it happens every day, barring inclement weather.
Anyway, the sort of editorialising Blair was doing wasn't all that uncommon a few years ago (I get most of my info from Rumpole and Geoffrey Robertson books, so I dunno really). Law hawks can can me, but I guess it's still allowed but just considered poor form. She is being watched more closely than most and should be more careful though.

A request for social exclusion, we we us, typical, it's a party next door.
You lefties know we have a certain outlook when it comes to come here and bring your whole retarded village. We have been saying it for years and were, well well. And now the same people are saying we don't have a solution. Some nerve. What we do have is damage control.
Is this some sort of failed attempt at spoken word/rap, or are you just having a stroke while you type?

This is the best mental image I've had all day. And that includes picturing Sarah Carter naked.

Now the National Secular Society has made a complaint on the grounds that if the man had not been religious it appears he would have got a harsher sentence, and that this is unjust and discriminatory ...
Completely agree with them.
Perhaps she should have said something more specific like: "you are a man with moral guidelines which are important to you".

Do you guys have criminal restitution? It says he was ordered to pay 200 in costs, but "costs" could be anything. Or is it not really a big thing (in cases like this at least, where restitution would be for medical expenses) because your health care system is different/less expensive?
Bit late to chime in here, but I thought I'd point out that our healthcare system is actually free, so not at all expensive. No one has to worry about health HMOs or money when they get sick in the UK.
