Here's what I think...
The Irony, Charlie Kirk was against "empathy", his dead made everyone empathetic. I think that's pathetic instead.
The Purpose, I am very sure he is a red herring for a trigger (yeah, very oxymoronic there) and said trigger is...To make sure the ever-so-disgusting manipulative rich/high class is out of the picture and there's more worker-vs-worker fights, by using the whole funny dilemma that is Left & Right, something so heavily corrupted by our current Roman Empire, the United States of America.
