i bought, played, and beat Morrowind ~1 year ago. Since then i reformatted my hard drive.
Recently, i bought Bloodmoon (i'm an addict for vampire/werewolf games). However, it looks like i need to start over (which may not be bad). I also do not have Tribunal, although i'm considering purchasing it.
My question is, what should i do regarding my character? i am thinking of cheating to add skills, levels, etc. so i can beef up my character and run through Bloodmoon. If i do this, can anyone tell me what skill levels to anticipate for a character who has just finished the main MW quest? i can't remember.
Also, does anyone remember the locations of all the glass armor? i had a full suit, but i can't remember where the pieces are. Lastly, what is a good long blade, short blade, and bow (in game... i'm not looking for plugin weapons)? Again, it's been so long i can't remember.
Also, is there a way to enter console commands in such a way that the game recognizes a new level and presents the "level up" screen?

This varies quite widely depending on character class and level. Obviously a warrior class would have stronger longblade, while a mage would have good magic skills. If you finish the main quest rather quickly, you could be around level 30 or 40 (I believe I read somewhere that Dagoth Ur himself is only level 35 or so). At level 30 or 40 you might have maxed out a couple primary skills, depending on how frequently you train or use them. Your misc skills could be anywhere depending, again, on training or use. Personally, I held off completion of the main quest until my character was extremely buff. I trained a lot near the end to finish off my main skills and was level 60-70 when I finally headed to Red Mountain. Not surprisingly, I found Dagoth Ur a pushover and was rather underwhelmed by the finale :nono:. I'm hoping Bloodmoon has some nice challenges for high level characters - We shall see! :cheeky:
If you are really interest in knowing where your stats should be, you might try look around on the forums. There are several threads in which people describe their characters and give their major skills and such. These threads might give you an idea of where you should be at any given level.

There is a guy in Ghost Gate with a lot of glass armour and some of the vaults in Vivec might have a couple of pieces. Try a forum search for glass armor - I'm certain you're not the first to ask.

There arn't very many bows in the original game, although you do find a nice one in the ashlander burial caves as part of the main quest. Sorry I can't be more specific, but names escape me at the moment.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to change your level, but I think it only effects your amount of health/mana/fatigue, without giving the level up screen. You may have to manually imput all the skills and attributes you want to affect. Unfortunately, I don't have a list of the commands handy, so you'll have to go looking for them.
Personally, I would suggest you just start a new game and develop a character naturally. Bloodmoon is designed (or so I hear) to be played by a range of character levels, irregardless of completion of the main Morrowind plot. Certain areas and quests will be too rough for a new character but others would be boringly easy for a high-level character. You could do the easier quests first, then take on the harder ones as you level. Once you're god-like, there is less thrill to walking around in dangerous places. Being a mere mortal can give gameplay an added edge. :ebil:
