Speaking of clutter, I'm beginning to experience a lack of carrying capacity myself. Without having a house purchased, can one leave items in a Guild hall without them wandering off?

Leaving stuff on the ground is fairly safe, just don't drop a weapon and start a fight.
Most chests in the guild halls are not safe for storage. Buy the shack at the Waterfront and the storage option instead if you want mass storage (should only cost ~2700 gold total).

Yeah, the waterfront shack is great. Once you get all of the upgrades you've got 4 containers (one for each of the 4 sub-inventory tabs), and they appear to have infinite capacity. Plus you don't have to travel up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to all of your stuff.

That's the annoying thing about the Skingrad house all right (like the coffee table you bark your shins on everytime you go into the Cheydinhal house through the front door--at least I think it's the one in Cheydinhal). Now that I've bought it free and clear I've decided to mod it to my liking this time around. Adding more containers, fixing up the backyard and putting in a door there, changing the top floor table so it doesn't keep respawning table settings and food. Maybe I'll add a firepole to teleport me to the top floor. I'll probably knock out a few walls and expand into Agnete the Pickled's top floor. She doesn't use it much and is letting it go pretty cheaply since I've always been her best customer. And if Falani is willing to sell, maybe a top floor cafe stocked with some regulars. Yeah, I have big plans for that place.
And I'm sorry but that servant you get is butt ugly. I'm doing something about that too.

Take off her clothes! Take off her clothes!

And make her a Nord! Oblivion is seriously lacking in the naked Nord department.

Heh. I'll post a picture of my new servant. I don't think you guys will be disappointed.

Ok, for some weird reason, my character turned crazily awesome. It was like this,I wasnt playing oblivion since i couldnt defeat aronak-gro-malog(Arena Grand-Champion) But one day when i felt like playing again,I killed him in 2 hits! And now every enemy dies in 2 or 1hit(s) But i still like the game. (I was level one!!!)

Citizens demand pictures.

Maybe the difficulty slider got changed somehow? That's the first thing I'd check.
