Yes, I tried to encompass all consequences as well, when I know about these future consequences. Your... erh... previous dealings with Sharon doesn't alter her help when you escape, but it is likely to change her dialogue. At least she helped me out even when I annoyed her as much as possible without complaining. (Can't you tell I love to bother people? But I am afraid this tendency is not limited to Deus Ex)

You have to pay double next time.

Thanks for the reminder, I recall he asked me once to pay 1,000 credits for a mere code. No need to explain what my reaction was eh? Thanks, this old memory of mine is no longer working as intended.

Maggie Chow: if you avoid meeting her when you go to retrieve the Dragon's Tooth, she can be seen talking with Walton Simons at Versalife, and will confront you (conversation along the lines of "you didn't bother to say hello to me") when you attempt to destroy the Versalife UC. I presume this is also similar to when you meet her in her apartment but don't bump her off. Obviously if you kill her initially, she won't be heard from again.
Sandra Renton: an FAQ I read some time ago suggests that there is a way to get her and her father to reconcile after the JoJo event (something about giving him the bow instead of the pistol???). Theoretically that would mean you could tell the marine in the Underworld bar that she was still at the Ton Hotel, and that you wouldn't meet her at the Abandoned Gas Station later on.

What makes Sarah Renton stays in Hell's Kitchen (GOTY Version):
During the NSF transmitter mission when Paul stays at the hotel, you get to talk with Sandra and Mr Renton about Jo-Jo Fine who has moved into the hotel. Mr Renton will ask for a weapon from JC.
After that, Jo-Jo will come down and push Sandra around, and Mr Renton wil tell him off, causing Jo-Jo to attack Sandra and Mr Renton.
Now, if you give Mr Renton a weapon he can use (sawn-off shotgun, pistol, stealth pistol, crossbow, others?), he will have a faceoff with Jo-Jo.
I found that if I let Mr Renton get in the first shot on Jo-Jo, after Jo-Jo is taken care off and everyone else survives, Sandra will end up staying at Hell's Kitchen. If I get JC to hit Jo-Jo first, whether or not Mr Renton gets armed is irrelevent: Sandra will run away.
Provided Mr Renton shoots first (doesn't matter if I make JC intervenes after that) and everyone survives (chances of Mr Renton killing Jo-Jo on his own before Sandra dies is pretty slim because of Jo-Jo's stealth pistols fast ROF, so if I want this dialogue path, I'll waste Jo-Jo immediately after that first shot), Sandra will stay.
An indirect reward for making Sandra stay is that when returning to Hell's Kitchen to meet Stan Dowd, Sandra will be in the bar along with Vinny the Marine and will vouch for Vinny's trustworthiess if you speak with her.

and if she runs away you meet her at the gas station level, if you go talk to the bums arround the flaming drum before heading up to the gas station itself.

Sandra vouching for Vinnie doesn't matter anyway....
I can only get the different Simons message at the signal sending bit by taking out everyone *fumes*

Given your name, would you have spared any life of these troopers anyway? ;) Thanks for the information!
There must be quite a few situations where your actions do alter the outcome in New York, I should have another look at these levels. Here are a few:
* Killing Joe Greens at the Underworld Bar will bother Manderley, once again. And you are rid of all his newspapers for the remainded of the game!
* Speaking to Joe Greens will alter his newspaper, and Manderley will yell at you. He is *never* fine with your actions, I tell ya, he is yet another jealous rival and should be terminated.
* The conversation at the Tom between your fellow Unatco Trooper and JC. Before JC enters in "I am your specialist". If he saves both hostages, the trooper will reply "Perhaps we didn't really need a specialist". If he only saves one, he will complain to JC and say "You should have waited for the specialist". I don't know what happens if you don't manage to save even one hostage.
* Obviously, saving Sandra/not saving her, and what is explained above.
* You can make it to the Smuggler's without having the password. There is indeed a backdoor entrance in a lorry somewhere in a backyard. The Smuggler will be somewhat more suspicious than the usual.
* Another obvious one, screwing up the hostage rescue at the station metro will result in heavy criticism from Alex and from Manderley.
* If nobody is killed at the Castle Whose Name I Forgot, you will deserve praise from Carter, and an additional lecture about the way of dealing problems when you belong to the UNATCO. And you have additional ammo as well.
* Yet another obvious one: giving food to the two boys at the Castle result in more information, especially two codes.
* Is there any consequence if you shoot the man begging to die at the Same Castle?
* Likewise, is there any consequence if you help/don't help the man who is having trouble with thugs at Hell's Kitchen?
* Lastly, I wonder what happens if you don't manage to save the biologist held hostage by the Infamous Organization in the sewers. Or rather, if you kill him yourself.

For most of the inquiries in this thread, my advice would simply be to save often and try it yourself. It adds to the replayability if there's an incentive for you to go back and use a different approach to a situation. Trust me, DX is well worth replaying.

1) AFAIK no. If you keep trying to talk to him, JC will tell him to go to a public clinic.
2) If you help him he gives you the password "Underworld", which the mole person above the subway in the next mission (forgot his name) will ask you for in exchange for the payphone elevator code. You can also get the passworld by cracking open a footlocker and reading a book in the same subway area. Or you can multitool the elevator keypad. Or if all else fails you can pay off Harley Filben for the code (if you already have the code, JC automatically says so).
3) As Smuggler says, if you save Ford Schick, he'll give you a discount when you get back. This should be obvious, especially since the only way I know of to get the key to the MJ12 sewers is to get one from Smuggler when you promise to save his friend. If you screw up, Smuggler gets upset, but the only real consequence is that you miss out on the discount.

Thanks for the answers! I played quite a few times through the early game, but my memory is somewhat faulty as you can tell. Still, I should reinstall Deus Ex and play through the game once more someday or another.
For 3) my question was indeed if anything happens when you screw up, rather than what happens when you make it. Granted, I should have mentioned the discount when you succeed in the first place.
