I've been seeing random cgi errors over the last week. Might be worth looking into.

I've been encountering the same thing. I recall they were happening about half a year ago too, but they seemed to disappear after a while. The message I get is something like "The specified cgi application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:".

Well, I've done a bit of maintenance today on the vB databases and such (and given the sever all sorts of dirty looks and "shape up or else!" warnings) hopefully this will help. :cheeky:
Note: that error is sort of misleading, since the forums do not use CGI/Perl at all, but annyhoo...

Unfortunately, the errors are still occuring - I just encountered one when previewing a reply in The Editors' Guild. They still seem quite rare (probably on about 1% of pages). Not a major problem, just slightly annoying...

I got one too, when trying to view this thread. A quick refresh solves the problem though. But it might be anoying for the 56k people.

Yes, I've noticed that the server did not take my warnings and dirty looks seriously :(
I will try to figger out just what the matter is, bear with me folks... until then, yes a refresh seems to always do the trick.

It's not anoying. (Yet...) :)
