. . . Korenchkin gave himself up for the betterment of the life of the universe. Think: no conflict, no arguments, incredibly fast evolution....
No free will, no sense of self, being a mindless drone....
Yeah, sounds heavenly. :p
And Goggles = Jesus? I fail to see the similarity.

Ridiculously powerful, brings down an entire civilization... How else can you be messianic?
And if the Many has no free will, how could Diego have had the sense to cut the worms out of him? How could Malik (I think that's his name) have programmed a workaround on the Sim Units without the Many knowing? Quote him: "I have a secret from the Many!" And Korenchkin could think for himself after he became a Reaver...
What I'm trying to get at is that the Many isn't
quite as bad as they're made out to be. Notice how everyone who's taken over by the Many is happy. I'm not saying they're not a manipulative, dangerous species, but I am saying it's better than being, for example, a Splicer (free will, but insanity, and caused by the
human need to be better).

That's a retarded idea.

Because he wasn't fully subsumed.

A secret from the Many. Ergo, a secret given to him by the Many.

Just because he can talk doesn't mean he has free will.

I don't even know what to say.

No, a secret
from the Many. He installed the overrides without the Many's knowledge.

I think you're confusing Jesus with Keanu Reeves.
And welcome to the TTLG welcoming committee. Don't worry, they get less mean when you stop saying stupid things and resurrecting eight year old threads. That kind of thing's only allowed if the forum gets less than ten posts per year.

Yeah, I totally got that from the cries of desperation saying "Kill me..."
RocketMan on 20/3/2009 at 03:22
Pidesco you're clearly missing the point that Shinki is making here. You see, the many are much like those who cut themselves. When they scream "kill me" they really mean "kut me cuz I like it". Now do you understand his position?
