Somehow, I don't think that Bob's Real Life Office Space Simulator is going to sell very well.

This is already my most anticipated game at the moment. Since the mid-90s I've wanted to play a singler player open world cyberpunk RPG, and now it finally looks like my "dream game" is about to become reality. Can't wait to play it!

The second concept sketch makes me think even more about Ghost in the Shell.

Just for a bit of trivia and some unofficially related content. The Electronic artist "Access to Arasaka" based his entire discography on a concept from the Pen & Paper version of the game. I quite like it and its the glitch that I have on most heavy rotation on my Walkman / Android. You can even download his albums for free if you find the right website (not piracy).
When CDP announced Cyberpunk 2077 he said in an interview how awesome he thought it would be if they wanted him to do music for it, but nobody approached him, not that he is hugely popular or anything, I just found him in a corner of the internet. Extremely talented though, check it out.

EDIT: apparently his albums have been taken down, you have to buy them now, but that EP is free to download. Not sure when it changed but I have all of his stuff that was previously released for free without using any extra-legal means.

That reminds me, back in 2006 or something the mobile phone game Cyberpunk - The Arasaka's Plot was released. Pretty fun game and really one of the better phone games back then. It had gameplay comparable to the excellent (

Witcher 2380AD. That could actually be interesting if they extrapolated the Witcher universe into the future; I always felt that "the medieval fantasy, but 2000 years later" has been somewhat of an underused concept. Aside from Warhammer 40k, I cant think of many games that do that, they usually go for completely new "look-what-kind-of-wacky-aliens-we-can-come-up-with" space oddysey SciFi.
You may want to check science fantasy genre, though it is very diverse, so you will have to search a lot to find particular type of setting.

OOOOH, I like that Sony! I had no idea they still used the Walkman name on their .MP3 players. I had been stuck in just using shitty disposable players for years, then started relying on my Blackberry for music, and finally happily landed in iPod Touch land. I am going to read up on Sony's offerings for sure!
