hey guys, i just found a cool burial near seyda neen, along the coast to the north. it had some bonewalkers and skeletons but they werent too tought to deal with. anyway, i got to some guys ashes and found a ring in his urn that give +10 to willpower and intelligence, CONSTANTLY!! :D
so, anyone else know of any other cool caves like that with goodies scattered around morrowind?

Sorry to break it to you, but! The ring you found is an Artifact. There's actually a book ingame describing many of them: One is found down in the Corprusarium by Yagrum, the Dwarf. Another, if you have Tribunal, is found in the museum there.
There's an underwater cave around Ebonheart that might interest you. But I'll say no more!

I don't know if these qualifify as an Artifacts, but if you go northeast from Suran, over the ridge, you'll meet in one of the ravines an orc called Umbra. He has an interesting proposition for you...
In the vicinity of the "city" of Dagon Fel, there are two places which may interest you:
- A dwemer tower with a certain necromancer living in it. Necromancers collect stuff.
- There is also an orc stronghold called Rotheran, where you can possibly persuade some of the inhabitants to abandon certain items of their inventory.
Don't go there if your character is just beginning the game.

The umbra and the artifact in Rotheran both count as artifacts and are mentioned in that book. The other one isn't (as I recall) though there is another one in a tomb near by.

Nope, all three are artifacts! Though I will say that the Umbra is the best sword around. (Well, maybe not in damage, but it makes you look like one bad... mother.) I've got my own theory that it's the only Ebony Claymore in the game.

It's definitly cool, but I like it most because it's light, it weights only 40 compared to 60 of other big Artifact swords. My character was best at the heavy armor skill, so saving weight become an issue later in the game.
