I am on a Temple quest to Mt Kand to figure out some puzzles. I have made it to the Mt Kand shrine (in the cavern), but did not find any Daedra's (or whatever they are) to ask questions of. Is this a bug or am I in the wrong place?

Try talking to the Atronachs. Start with the first one though. If you can't figure it all out, try reading the "Yellow Book of Riddles."

And if you already killed all the atronachs, simply leave and rest. They should respawn.

Thanks. For some reason I thought I would be talking to some Daedras. It is always the easy parts that stump me.
