Okay, well, I have to lead Hleeya or something (the only non-Dunmer in the Black Shalk Cornerclub in FQ Vivec) to Jobasha's Rare Bookstore. Hleeya says she has to have the Dunmers' approval of her leaving or things will get messy. I convinced them to let us go together, but for some reason when we exit Black Shalk she will not follow me away. I tried raising her desposition to 100, repeatedly click on "follow me," bribing the Dunmer all around the FQ of Vivec, etc and she won't. I thought it may be a conflict with the PetShop mod I have enabled, with which I have a baby pack guar that follows me, but I disabled the mod and tried and she still wouldn't follow me. It wouldn't be the Petshop mod because I lead someone from this Egg Mine with the pack guar following to safety from Nix-Hounds, and that worked fine. I am insane with infuriation and confusion, someone help please! :tsktsk:

Maybe she's just being stubborn. Try telling her to stay put, then perhaps she'll follow you out. :p
I think the guy you need to convince is the guy behind the bar, as you say, " Dunmers' approval ". Try looking in the AI's talk menu to see if he has some key word that allows her to leave. I really don't remember what triggered her release tho.

Haha, I did that. I talked to the Dunmer right next to her and got him to let her leave, then talked to EVERYONE else in there and they all say that I should lead her out before they change their minds, so I took her out again and did what you said, no luck. Thanks anyway though. :thumb:

you could try just whacking all the people in the room except for the argonian and the bartender. Thats what i did in the first place.

They aren't needed again? Score, thanks. I'll try that.

unless you kill someone and it says "The thread of prophecy has been severed" than you are ok. Unless they are part of a faction quest. but most of the faction quests dont offer much of a reward anway(with the exception of a kicka** stronghold) They are just there mainly for making you explore the land. I like to kill one shopkeeper, take all his stuff, sell it to another shopkeeper, then kill him and take it all back along with everything he's got, so on and so forth.
Getting filthy rich in this game is just way too easy

I'd suggest caution in killing NPCs that don't attack you 1st (yep, that includes provoking someone by stealing something)... there are too many ways to shoot yourself in the foot otherwise.
