I'm having rendering problems in Thief2.exe which are not issues in game mode playing through Dromed.
Fibanocci found someone who was having similar problems on the German forums, and suggested settings changes in Catalyst Control Center, but many attempts to install haven't worked. It doesn't even show up as an option to install in the setup choices.
XP Home Version 2002 SP3
HP Presario
AMD Athlon 64
3400+
2.41GHz, 2.00 GB RAM
XFX Radeon HD 4650 AGP 8x
I've tried Catalyst 9-3xp32, 10-9xp32, and 11-2xp32....all to no avail. No CCC interface will install let alone even an ATI tab in Display Properties.

Oh crap, is that what the problem was? I have to completely uninstall everything, including the current driver the card is using? I would have thought installing CCC would have simply replaced the old driver during the install.

I have had one definite case where installing newer catalyst
drivers over older ones failed - the
old drivers were still used after that. So it's definitely
possible.

Got CCC installed, now Task Manager shows MOM.exe
Is it safe or a keylogger like some google results say?

mom.exe is part of the catalyst control center (it's the monitoring program).
It's pretty safe ;)
