I just had a quick question about the case fans' wirings. I am building for the first time, so I have been trying to get as much info as I can, but the case's manual is useless in this regard:
I have a Rosewill Challenger (Tom's Hardware Recommended Buy 2010). It has three fans (front, back, top) but one has a tiny three pin connector I'm guessing goes on the motherboard, while the top and front have those big 4-pin (molex?) connectors. So, if I connect those to the power supply, does that mean they'll run all the time? I got an i3, and have no discrete card for graphics, so I am wondering if I even need to bother with all three of them right away, especially if there's no control through the motherboard. I will eventually get a discrete card, and probably hook up the front fan then.
Also, I found what the manual claimed were the risers. But they seem to be metal of some sort. Did I miss something? Aren't they supposed to be rubber, or some sort of non-conductive material??

The molex ones should indeed run the whole time.

Yep, the fans connected via Molex will just run at full speed. Also, lots of cases have metal risers. We usually see those little metal screw/bolt thingies that you secure into the case and then mount the board on, but some cases have built-in risers too. Just make sure there are holes on the back of the board wherever the riser will meet it and that it is the appropriate form factor and you will be fine.
IIRC they used to use risers that were plastic snap-in pegs back in the 90s/AT days.
