When I tried to run Thief II on my computer (I set affinity to one processor), I could get as far as the objectives screen, but when I tried to start the first mission, it only displays it in a weird psychedelic scheme and then the game crashes when I try to move around.
I had uninstalled it after having it previously installed, and it always worked before.
I also cannot select some of the screen resolutions I could before in the Video menu options (no 1280 * 1024, for example), and I can no longer turn Fogging on or off.
Specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
NVidia GeForce GTS 240 (with latest drivers installed)

Sounds like you need to try an older driver, then DDfix.

I tried reloading my original driver from my computer's reinstall CD, and tried downloading an older driver from the Internet. Still doesn't work.

Keep the latest driver, then try DDFix.

Didn't work. I'm just about ready to pull my hair out.
I could still only get "Custom" resolution in DDFix and nothing higher than 800 * 600 in the game itself. And, like I said, everything worked fine before.
Edit: I just tried to start the first mission again, and I'm back to the psychedelic screen. For a while, I just had a black screen with sound only.

Bumping. I really want to get this fixed.
