SPOILERS WITHIN
I've been playing DX:IW for about a week now, and have now talked to JC. I went outside and, after a lot of reloads, managed to get rid of the armoured Templars by 'Dominating' Spiderbots.
Anyway, I got to the door to the complex-place (Forget what it's called, but there's a turret on the other side) and right-clicked on the keypad, and the door won't open :erm: It doesn't give a message saying it don't have the keycode, it just makes a sound and nothing happens. Also, in my notes it says that I have the keycode to get through it. So what is it? A bug?
And while we're on the topic of bugs, occasionally I get a multitool which doesn't go in the same space as the other multitools. This was a problem in Egypt when I had only 2 multis left, and I needed 2 to get through a door. The 2 I had both acted like only one, and I couldn't open the door.

I'm not exactly sure which building you're trying to enter, but the only building you absolutely must get into has four entrances.
Two of the buildings are useful only if you can't take out the turrets yourself, so if you can't get in, it's no big deal. The large building nearest to the signal dish has two doors, and neither is locked, so far as I know. Even so, if you can't get in, you can still continue the game.
As for the multitools: They ended up with two types, and I'm not sure they really understand what they did. One type acts like you expect, and the other causes a variety of odd happenings. For example, the two multitools you find in the mosque, if you try to pick them up and have a full inventory and say six normal multitools, will create a spawning point in the room where you talk with Billie. Click on those tools a few times, and you can create a large pile of multitools on the floor.
There's no fix for this problem except to know it exists. :(

There are usually alternative entrances to the buildings. Try circling around and look for grates. Also, you can try lobbing a grenade at the door that won't open.

It's not a building, it's another open space. I'll try to explain better where I am:
I've left JC's Sanctuary and have to get to Ava's helicopter, and I'm at the Shackleston Ice place, where all the armoured Templars are. I've managed to get rid of the templars and I walk up and try to open a door to get from where I am to the place in Antartica where the Gate that I used to get there is. The area with tent 04 in it. But even though in 'Notes' it says I have the keycode for it, the door won't let me in. I think it's a glitch, not part of the game.
And thanks for clearing the multitools bug up :thumb:

Is it a door that is a level-transition (do you want to go...)?
Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is to look for a button beside the door or blast with a grenade.

I think it's level transition, I'm not sure.
The only button beside it is the Keypad, which as I said just makes a beeping noise when I click it. And I don't have any grenades...
The point is, the door should open, because I went through it from the other side earlier to get here in the first place.
