Can't play after installing editor. - by Tithian

I followed the instructions in Komags tutorial and I've managed to get the editor installed and have already made my first room :)
When I try to play the game, without the editor which I have in a diffrent directory just like the tutorial told me, I always get a message that tells me that the game has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down.
I've never encountered this before. Have someone else encountered this problem? Is a reinstall possible or will it mess up the editor?
Thanks in advance.

Use Thief3 Launcher to play the game.

Hehe :erm: That was easily fixed. Thanks!
Do I always have to use the T3launcher or can I make it so that I can start T3 as you normally do?
Oh, and by the way. I read in the tutorial that you can fix the sound problem by making a text document and then make it to a batch file. Well, I've made the document but how do I make it a batch file? I've tried to rename it and put .bat after the name but it didn't work

Make sure that you have "Hide file extensions" turned off; you can get to that setting by opening up a My Computer window and going Tools -> Folder Options, then look under the View tab.
