Here's the response I got back from Eidos dating from 11 mai 2004.
I did'nt pursue the matter further as I add purchased the game in a local second hand store and figured I did'nt qualify as a valid customer (my assumption, not Eidos response). The game was running well (only one crash) and I made it all the way to Cairo untill I suffered a major hardware problem (CPU or motherborad fried not sure yet); So I did'nt made the effort to pursue this further.
I have since to reinstall the game on my brand new boxen, will do so as soon I find the time.
Good luck.
P.S. my version is the french canadian one i.e. box/manual is in french, but game is in english; maybe that's the problem...
