Can't install Thief - TTLG Forums

Hey peeps!

I have a bit of a problem installing Thief 1, Thief 2 installs fine with the tafferpatcher.

Every time I try to install Thief 1, the installer takes around 1,5-2 hours to appear, and when it does the installer instantly freezes, stays in that state for another hour or so and then promptly crashes.

It happens with the -lgntforce line and in every compatility mode.

I have the same problem with Planescape: Torment as well, and I think it has something to do with the 32bit installer but I'm not sure.

My OS is Windows 7 64bit

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated!

try installing it on another pc, and then just copy the installed game to your pc and make it portable with (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134733) this.
