First off, I'm not very technically minded so keep that in mind. I've installed the SS2 Mod mgr and used the SS2V.5 tool which I needed to play the original game so I assume I'm patched up correctly and ready for mods.

I then downloaded Ponterbee and followed the directions by changing the file extension to .ss2mod. Now in the directions it says after changing the file extension, the icon will change however mine did not. It then says to double click the file and it will extract to SS2MM however this doesn't happen either although I do see the mod files in the SS2 main directory. I open up SS2MM and go to add mod, and it just goes to look in my documents. I then tried navigating to my C drive to find the SS2MM and it isn't there. As I said I can see the Ponterbee files in the main directory but there is no exe. that I can see.

Any help would be appreciated.
