Hi Guys!
I'm using nVidia 3d Surround tri - moniter 480 SLI setup and whilst the game works @ 1920 x 1080,
every time I apply 5760 x 1080 in DDfix and Widescreen, it causes to crash on the beginning of level?
What gives?

It wouldn't work in 2560x1440 for me either. I don't know if it's intentionally limited but 1920x1080 seems as high as it can go.

Keep in mind that the wider your panorama goes, the more polygons you'll have on-screen. The Dark engine crashes at just over 1K polys.

Can you confirm that Thief works with 3D Vision? AFAIK previous attempts to play it in stereo were unsuccesful. If yes, please tell what versions of Windows, Thief, DDFix and nVidia drivers you have used.

Duno about 3d vision cos I don't have the glasses, I'm just using the 2d surround thus far.
I highly doubt it works with 3d vision though.

It isn't.

Can you provide step by step instructions on how to achieve this in Thief Gold?

I did nothing special-just make sure your game works with (
http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/ddfix.html) ddfix1.1.1,get the (
http://www.filefront.com/13839558/DarkWidescreen-v6r3.zip) widescreen patch, run it,and enter your resolution.when you are done, edit ddfix.ini and enable windowed mode.now make sure that you have the correct resolution in both cam.cfg and ddfix.ini.if you do,you should be ready to go,run the game,it will start in a small window in your upper left corner, but should maximize and cover all 3 screens as soon as you load a level..
