Hi again guys;
Well, I've found another problem. I finally solved the Shield of the Ancients puzzle in the crypt and got out of there. Everything seemed fine. Took me awhile to find level four again.(grin) That is where I'm supposed to find my way back to the rebel camp, but when I go there and make the left turn and cross that bridge(where I met Alia, the rebel leader before) I dont see any BLUE insignia on a bolder so that I can use my secret dagger pass.
So, I am not able somehow to get back into the rebel camp to give the Shield of the Ancients to Alia. Anyone know what might have gone wrong? Thanks again for any help. Have a good one.

I missed it too, and I thought maybe I had to have opened it first from the other side (which I didn't do when I was first in the rebel base -- I used the other exit). The keyhole is kind of low on the wall, just to the left of the entrance. It might help to light a torch or use Enhance Vision.
I actually ended up using the other entrance, through the caves with all the trolls in it. And I repeatedly missed the keyhole for that one too (I thought you went up some stairs and THEN used the key; I kept encountering a blank wall, so I assumed I was in the wrong area and didn't even look for the keyhole which opens the stairs until I just happened to be passing through with Enhance Vision on).
It was kind of frustrating, but on the other hand it reveals what I think is actually a nice touch in the design of the game: stuff like torches and image enhancing spells are actually useful and important in this game, whereas in most other games all the items and spells usually just come down to "What deals the most damage?"

Hi there,
Well I found the key hole for getting into the Rebel camp...finally. (grin) Man, it was almost impossible to see. It was like only a foot or so off the ground. Haha. Anyhow..I'm moving on and have destroyed the meteor also. Now it's time for the ultimate weapon I guess. Upward and onward for this weary traveler. RPGs I may learn to love em yet. lol
